The annual Green Office Award Labeling Scheme (GOALS) is organized by the World Green Organization (WGO) in Hong Kong. We are honored to receive the 2016 Green Office Award this year, winning this award for four consecutive years. This scheme raises local businesses’ awareness of global environmental challenges, shares knowledge of environmental protection, evaluates environmental footprints, and identifies improvement opportunities in order to implement straight-forward green best practices for offices.
We have been participating in the scheme since 2013. Through this scheme, we have been making continuous environmental improvement to our office operations. One of the improvements this year was to review and adjust the illuminance along the aisles of the office.
As a regional environmental leader, we make every effort to reduce our ecological footprints, not only at production workshops, but also at offices and other supporting areas. These efforts may be small, but the sum of these efforts contributes to our significant improvement results. Good environmental practices at our offices also facilitates the promotion of green initiatives to non-manufacturing organizations.
