We are delighted to receive two green recognitions in the presentation ceremony of 2021 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) and Hong Kong Green Organization Certification held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on February 20, 2023. We won the Certificate of Merit in the Manufacturing and Industrial Services sector and our Group CFO & Director, Mr. King L. Lai, was one out of four Outstanding Green Achiever award winners.
Organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC), this annual award is a sector specific competition recognizing the overall environmental achievement of an organization. The assessment criteria are based on the well-established “Eco-Business Model”. The key factors, including Green Leadership, Program and Performance and Partner Synergy are generally considered to be vital in the overall integration of environmental measures within an organization.
In response to global climate change and aligning with our group’s long-term sustainable development goals, in 2021, we responded to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and formulated sustainable blueprint and developed medium and long-term sustainable development goals. We promise to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050. This recognizes Leo Management Team’s leadership, efforts, exceptional performance and enthusiasm in driving environmental enhancement within our group and the community. We would also like to thank for our business partners and stakeholders’ continued support of Leo as one of the Hong Kong Green Organizations.
