On April 19, 2011, the Signing Ceremony for the "Adobe® Creative University Program" and the Jiangmen Astros Vocational and Technical School (JAVTS) was held in the Leo Cultural Center. Representatives from various organizations attended to support the ceremony, including the Vice-Mayor of Heshan, Mr. Chao Yang, the Director of Heshan Education Bureau, Mr. Guo-wah Deng, the Managing Director of Adobe® China Region, Mr. Yew Hwee Ng, a representative from Beijing Hope Software Co., Ltd., the Director of Leo and JAVTS, Mr. King Lai, among others.
The "Adobe® Creative University Program" is jointly organized by the Adobe®, Beijing Normal University and the Communications University of China, and aims to fulfill market and enterprise needs through education. The program integrates leading creative
global concepts and Adobe® core technology in games, animation and Adobe® products, providing total solutions for both students and teachers at colleges and educational organizations.
The common goal of advancing education development brings Adobe® and Leo JAVTS together. The signing of this contract signifies that JAVTS is able to use 200 sets of Adobe® Creative Suite® 5.5 Design Premium software provided by Adobe®, which is
valued at over 2 million RMB. The software is a tool set for designing eye-catching plain image, digital magazine, e-books, animated PDF files and showing consistent images for HTML5/CSS3 websites. With the assistance of this software, we can enhance students’ abilities and inspire the development of our future talented staff at Leo.
