Having achieved the Manpower Developer (MD) status for 10 years, we are pleased to have passed the renewal assessment of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) Manpower Developer Award Scheme, and upgraded to the “Super MD” status effective from 2020 to 2025. Currently, there are a total of 548 MDs across more than 30 industries in Hong Kong. Among these, only 69 MDs were upgraded to “Super MDs” successfully.
To promote and instill a corporate culture advocating for the importance of manpower training and development, ERB launched the MD Scheme in December 2009 to recognize those organizations which demonstrate outstanding achievements in manpower training and developments as MDs. An upgrading mechanism was introduced in 2019-20 in which MDs holding the award status for 10 consecutive years will be acknowledged as “Super MDs” and the validity period will be extended from two years to five years with a focus on recognizing their continuous achievements.
