
Code of Conduct
The Leo Code of Conduct is a measurable standard and guide that we use to govern our factory operations and ensure that all of our efforts are in complete compliance with the laws and regulations of the country in which we operate. Also used as a Code of Ethics, it guarantees our responsibilities to our clients, employees, and the community.
The Labor Ordinance
Complying with the Labor Ordinance, we meet all local labor laws and regulations with regard to minimum wages, maximum working hours, etc. Staff enjoy social insurance schemes and staff development opportunities. Employees are treated with dignity and respect and must adhere to equal opportunity employment practices.
Health and Safety
All our factories, dormitories, and other work areas are fully equipped with the necessary fire and safety precautions. Emergency rescue and fire drill plans are in place. To ensure the health of our people, we provide a 24-hour medical clinic staffed by qualified medical personnel, and a safe and hygienic work environment. Leo has also complied with Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 requirements since 2004.
Environment
Leo has been complying with ISO 14001 certification requirements since 2001. We are also committed to our policy to “Replace, Reduce, Reuse, Renew, and Recycle.” We work with suppliers to investigate more environmentally friendly sources of paper and have also voluntarily installed a wastewater treatment plant at our Heshan factory.
AA
All our factories are AA certified by the local Chinese customs department, which means we are in compliance with its rules and regulations.
